Power to the Pupils

Power to the Pupils formed in 2011. Later that year, the group released their first CD 'Our Game'. They also published a book containing the lyrics from the CD. The book can be found at the Poetry Library at the Southbank Centre, London, UK.

Power to the Pupils have also been featured on UK TV - Community Channel's London 360 show.

The group's second album, "Power to the Pupils - Write On!" was released in July 2012.

The group consists of writers, rappers, singers, artists, musicians, dancers and filmmakers.

‘Power to the Pupils’ is at Southwold Primary School and is a rap club for year groups 5 and 6. We share raps with each other, do activities and design CD and album covers. Also we have already made a book. We are now making a new album and hope it will be as successful as our last album and be great!
